THE GROWING PLACE
Childcare and PreSchool
At The Growing Place, we supplement our curriculum with the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies to develop a unique curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration.

The top photo is from 2006, when we first began the adventure. As you can see, we did an expansion in 2022 (bottom right picture) to be able to house 124 children. We are currently in the process of adding another 40 slots (bottom left picture) and are excited to open our doors in Fall of 2025.

ABOUT
The Growing Place
The owner, Jane Works, founded The Growing Place in 2006 with a total of 4 rooms for infants to school age. In 2020, we started a new expansion that included a gym, a new school-age room, a kitchen, and a staff breakroom. Then at the end of 2024, we were lucky enough to be able to expand again, adding another section with two preschool rooms and two school-age rooms.
Love is at the center of our facility (literally, look at the heart-shaped pond and drive above).
OUR MISSION is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants through school-age children.

Montessori Inspired Curriculum
The Growing Place is a place where there is a focus on the whole child. We desire to create a loving and nurturing environment in which your child feels safe and comfortable.
Children are encouraged to learn discovery and exploration. We strive to create a harmonious balance between freedom and classroom responsibility to help your child develop a sense of independence.
Our Montessori-inspired classrooms allow children to make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the trained teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process.
